Shinryaku! Ika Musume review

Time for another anime review guys.!

Plot: A squid girl named Ika Musume vows to conquer humanity as revenge for its pollution of the ocean. Her first task is to make the Lemon beach house, owned by the Aizawa sisters, her base of operations. However, when she accidentally breaks a hole in their wall, she is forced to work as a waitress to pay off the damages.

My Turn: To start, this anime is short with only having 12 episodes, you will basically ask for more. Aside from being a short anime, this anime has a list of characters. It’s quite odd for having a squid for a character tho but the animators really did a good job.  It’s based on the manga  that was issued in 2007 and still ongoing so I think they will have a 2nd season this coming year in which I really hope they do. I don’t have a lot of things to say about this anime due to the length of the series but I haven’t laughed from watching an anime in a while and this hit the spot. I will give this anime a 9/10.
Check it out, you might like it.

Update: Here is a commercial of the anime
